Mosaic Shelf Sitter - Friday, May 8th | 7pm

Our Mosaic Shelf Sitters Workshop is a relaxed, hands-on introduction to mosaics - perfect for beginners and still engaging for those who have worked with mosaics before. You’ll create a decorative piece designed to sit on a shelf, windowsill, or anywhere that could use a little handmade detail.

You’ll work with our studio’s collection of colored glass, ceramic tile, and a variety of unique materials that make mosaics so fun to explore. We’ll guide you through the process of designing and building your piece, with plenty of time to experiment, follow your own ideas, and enjoy the rhythm of creating.

This is a self-paced workshop with instruction and support along the way. All materials are included, and no prior experience is needed.

Available shapes will rotate throughout the season, so there’s always something new to choose from.

Parking                                                                                                                                      On street meter parking is available on Elizabeth Ave. Free on street parking is available on Chelsea Ave. Free lot parking is located behind the building.

Locating the Studio                                                                                                               We suggest entering the building from Ruch St. entrance (the back of the building). Use the elevator directly inside the building to the right. This is the only elevator that will take you to the 4th floor. If you enter the building from Elizabeth Ave, and take the elevator in the hallway, please note that the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor.
