Mixed Media Pet Portrait Collage Workshop - Friday, February 20th | 6:30pm

The pets we love have a way of becoming part of who we are. In this workshop, we’ll turn those familiar faces into art that feels warm, personal, and full of character.

You’ll start with printed close-up photos of your pet and transform them using layered papers, markers, pens, colored pencils, and a mix of other materials. Think playful textures, bold patterns, and unexpected details that highlight their quirks - the head tilt, the whiskers, those big “treat please?” eyes. No experience needed. Just your pet’s adorable face and a sense of fun.

Please bring 2-3 close-up face photos of your pet printed on standard 8.5x11 paper (color or black & white both work!) We’ll use these directly in the artwork as part of your 11x14 collage portrait.

Expect good company, plenty of creative encouragement, and a studio table piled with materials to play with. You’ll head home with a piece that feels like a tribute to your favorite companion - one you’ll smile at every time you walk past it.

Snacks & Sips: Feel free to bring your favorite snacks and drinks to enjoy while you create. The Studio is BYOB for guests 21+.

Parking: On street meter parking is available on Elizabeth Ave. Free on street parking is available on Chelsea Ave. Free lot parking is located behind the building.

Locating the Studio:  We suggest entering the building from Ruch St. entrance (the back of the building). Use the elevator directly inside the building to the right. This is the only elevator that will take you to the 4th floor. If you enter the building from Elizabeth Ave, and take the elevator in the hallway, please note that the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor.
