Mixed Media Mosaic Pear - Friday, October 30th | 6:30pm

A little glass, a little china, a few beads and maybe even a piece of old jewelry...this one is all about mixing things up!

Inspired by the beautiful mixed media mosaic style of artist Sharra Frank, this workshop is the perfect introduction to creating mosaics with a mix of unexpected materials. We’ll start with a wood pear frame and use a groutless technique, combining glass, thrifted china, jewelry, beads and other little treasures to create a piece filled with color and texture.

Choose from three colorways, then make it completely your own. We’ll have plenty of materials to dig through, mix, match and arrange, so every pear will turn out a little different.

No mosaic experience is needed. Come play with color, texture and all the pretty little pieces and see where your design takes you!

Snacks & Sips: Feel free to bring your favorite snacks and drinks to enjoy while you create. The Studio is BYOB for guests 21+.

Parking: On street meter parking is available on Elizabeth Ave. Free on street parking is available on Chelsea Ave. Free lot parking is located behind the building.

Locating the Studio:  We suggest entering the building from Ruch St. entrance (the back of the building). Use the elevator directly inside the building to the right. This is the only elevator that will take you to the 4th floor. If you enter the building from Elizabeth Ave, and take the elevator in the hallway, please note that the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor.
