For the Love of Art is a beginner-friendly creative series designed to take the pressure out of making art. Using an art journal as our creative playground, we’ll explore different mediums, techniques, and prompts while learning to trust our own creative instincts.

Each session brings something new to try, from painting and collage to texture, mixed media, and more. There’s no expectation of a perfect finished piece and no “right” way to create. It’s simply time to experiment, play, and discover what you enjoy.

Painted Pages + Torn Botanicals explores watercolor and collage by transforming repurposed book pages into colorful botanical compositions. Students experiment with painting, tearing, layering and arranging paper to create a unique mixed media journal page.

No art experience necessary - just come curious and ready to create, one page at a time.

Materials Needed: 8 1/2 x 11 Lay Flat Sketchbook - Bring your own or purchase our 8 1/2 x 11 Art Journal.

Location: 35 E. Elizabeth Ave; Suite 401; Bethlehem, PA

Snacks & Sips: Feel free to bring your favorite snacks and drinks to enjoy while you create. The Studio is BYOB for guests 21+.

Parking: On street meter parking is available on Elizabeth Ave. Free on street parking is available on Chelsea Ave. Free lot parking is located behind the building.

Locating the Studio:  We suggest entering the building from Ruch St. entrance (the back of the building). Use the elevator directly inside the building to the right. This is the only elevator that will take you to the 4th floor. If you enter the building from Elizabeth Ave, and take the elevator in the hallway, please note that the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor.
