Beginner Mosaics - Monday, September 14th | 6:30pm

Curious about mosaics but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect introduction to the art of mosaics and will give you the skills and confidence to tackle future projects on your own.

We’ll cover the basics from start to finish, including mosaic tools and how to use them, choosing and cutting materials, adhesives, grouting, design and placement techniques, plus plenty of helpful tips and tricks we’ve learned along the way.

As we work through each step, you’ll create a small mosaic ornament to take home. The project is intentionally simple so you can focus on learning the techniques, experimenting with materials, and getting comfortable with the process.

No mosaic experience is necessary. This class is designed specifically for beginners, and all supplies and tools are provided.

Snacks & Sips: Feel free to bring your favorite snacks and drinks to enjoy while you create. The Studio is BYOB for guests 21+.

Parking: On street meter parking is available on Elizabeth Ave. Free on street parking is available on Chelsea Ave. Free lot parking is located behind the building.

Locating the Studio:  We suggest entering the building from Ruch St. entrance (the back of the building). Use the elevator directly inside the building to the right. This is the only elevator that will take you to the 4th floor. If you enter the building from Elizabeth Ave, and take the elevator in the hallway, please note that the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor.
